Improv for Good is a nonprofit troupe based in San Luis Obispo County, bringing live, unscripted performance and applied improv skills to seniors, caregivers, underserved communities, and beyond — because laughter is for everyone.
What We Do
All of our shows are unscripted, inspired by audience suggestions, and tailored to your group or cause. We perform at shelters, senior communities, fundraisers, and community events — wherever access to live performing arts is limited.

Why Improv?
Research shows that improvisation can improve mood, reduce stress, and strengthen social connection. When people laugh and play together, something opens up. Guards come down, presence deepens, and belonging becomes possible. That's what we're here for.
Community Classes & Troupe

We're relaunching community improv classes in the San Luis Obispo area this spring, open to adults of all backgrounds and experience levels with a willingness to play.
