    Improv for Good is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using the power of comedy for charitable purposes. We perform for audiences in need of cheer, such as seniors, caregivers, and children facing challenges, and engage in fundraisers, community events, and inclusive gatherings.
  • How does Improv for Good support charities?
    We perform at fundraisers for charity and for underserved members of our community, such as seniors and people experiencing homelessness. Improv for Good asks the audience to make a minimum $10 donation at fundraiser shows. Performances for underserved individuals, arranged through the organizations that serve them, are provided at no charge.
  • What types of workshops does Improv for Good offer?
    Improv for Good offers applied improvisation workshops that focus on building skills such as confidence, communication, and resilience. These workshops are designed to be fun, engaging, and beneficial for both personal and professional development.

  • Where does Improv for Good perform?
    Our public fundraiser shows are often held at local venues, such as La Casita Mexican Restaurant in Grover Beach. If you have a performance space to offer at your business, please get in touch. We also perform privately for individuals who could use a little extra cheer, such as at senior centers and temporary housing facilities.     Yes! Everything we do is made up on the spot based on audience suggestions, ensuring that nothing is pre-planned. There are also opportunities for audience members to come up on stage to participate in certain games, such as Pillars.
